Sibulele Xapa was born in 2002 and is originally from Butterworth, Eastern Cape, a province of South Africa. This young artist is inspired by nature, her surroundings and existence, raw emotions, socio-economic issues such as culture and traditional discrimination, poverty, and the lack of education.  The portrait and landscape work she focuses on heavily encapsulates themes of culture and tradition. This is so she can relay to the viewer an understand that no matter your background, we are all one as humans and we should try to live among each other peacfully.
